In collaboration with the American literary journal ONTHEBUS — named by Esquire as one of the twenty best literary journals in the country — the Method Writing team created a special publication: a bilingual anthology featuring 60 works by Ukrainian and American authors.
Young writers from two different continents explore the concept of «war» across its many layers in their texts: war within oneself, within the family, within society, and at the level of the state.
The anthology's works show that despite our different cultures and living conditions, we as people have much in common. We are capable of understanding one another's pain; we face similar struggles and life experiences. Yes, we are different — but we share more in common than we think.
The anthology's illustrations deserve special mention. They were created by the renowned Ukrainian poster artist Nikita Titov and the American photo artist Baz Here. Each of them created 60 original images — one for every text in the collection.
