About the book
Chris works as an ordinary office manager at an IT company in Kharkiv. She recently got a tattoo of swallows on her left leg, and it seems she's falling in love with her own director.
Chris has decided to tell her story — honest, sincere, poignant, just like she is. She'll show you how different worlds of wealth and poverty can become one. She believes in herself, in her love, and in this man. Their path to happiness won't be easy. Despite judgment, gossip, and a childhood without a father, Chris never loses her own faith and isn't afraid to be herself. She draws, cherishes, searches for, and loses her swallows. But they will always be near, even on the other side of the world. Because swallows truly live in every one of us.

About the author
Christina Sashchuk was born in the city of Izium — a place almost no one had heard of before the war, once known as a "sweet city," of which almost nothing remains today. She graduated from Kharkiv's Beketov University with a degree in hotel, resort, and tourism management. But she always dreamed of writing.
She began her writing journey in 2020. Besides writing, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family — all of which she shares about on her blog.
